INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Rear:
Jack up car and remove rear wheels
Remove brake line from strut.
Remove endlinks from strut.
Remove "crash bolts" from strut
To access top of strut mounting point, you need to remove the rear decklid. This is the panel above the speakers. Fold the rear seats down and remove several clips along the panel. From the trunk, push up on several snap clips to free the panel. Now you need to remove the outboard seatbelt mechanisms with an 17mm socket.
Now that you have access to the strut, remove the three bolts that hold the strut in place. The strut/spring assembly should be free from the car.
Using a spring compressor, remove spring from strut assembly and install new springs. Be sure to align the spring correctly into the strut perch.
To mount the spring/strut assembly back on the car, the strut assembly must be aligned correctly to face the crash bolts. This may be a problem because the new spring's coils may not line up exactly the same as the older spring. The easiest way to get around this is to have the strut top's nut loose enough to allow rotation of the assembly while in the wheelwell. Place the assembly back into the wheelwell, align the 3 upper strut bolts, and now rotate the strut for the correct alignment.
Tighten the strut top's nut, the three upper mounting nuts, and crash bolts.
Replace endlink assembly and brake line.
Repeat with other side.
Front:
Jack up car and remove front wheels.
Remove brake line from strut.
Remove endlinks from strut.
Remove "crash bolts" from strut
Remove the four bolts on the strut tower that hold the strut in place. The strut/spring assembly should be free from the car. Make note of the position of the white dot on the strut top. You will need to reinstall the assembly the same way for proper alignment.

Place assembly into wheelwell and tighten the top nut, four strut tower mounting nuts, and crash bolts.
